Cutting reconciliation from days to minutes

Northwind’s finance team spent the first three days of every month reconciling shipments against invoices by hand. It was slow, stressful, and quietly expensive.

We built a nightly pipeline that pulls from each source, normalises the records, and flags only the genuine exceptions for a human to review — with a full audit trail.

The outcome

Reconciliation now takes minutes instead of days, exceptions are caught the same night, and the close happens on schedule, every month.
